Sorry if I'm not putting any latest blog entries here recently. I'm currently under the lazy bug syndrome these past few months. Hopefully, I'll be back when inspiration hits me in the face. -_-!

Though I'm cuurently pumped up because I excited to watch the via satellite telecast of the 14th season of The Amazing Race on February 16, 2009 on Studio 23.

OTAKU'S VERDICT 2008: The Annual Online Philippine Anime Yearend Poll

It's that time of the year again where the whole anime community unite to vote for their favorite animes that were aired and/or now airing on Local and Cable TV channels here in the Philippnes. It's now the start of the anime yearend polls called Otaku's Verdict 2008.

This was started in 2005 by my online buddies Anime Kabayan and Genjo Sanzo through their site Magtibay Anime. The Annual Online Yearend Polls is now on it's 4th year right now. Also additional categories were added to the polls this year. And now this year 2008, which anime will reign supreme in the upcoming polls? You will decide through your votes.

I encourage all anime fans to cast their votes starting December 3, 2008.

Voting Period will be on December 3-18, 2008 on the Otaku's Verdict Website on the Voting Booth section.

oo1. If your lover betrayed you, what will your reaction be?
Upset, angry, all negative emotions you could think off rolled into one. As if my world would fall apart. Of course, break-up will be next to it and then move on with my life.

oo2. If you can have a dream to come true, what would it be?
mine is just simple. I want to have an unlimited supply of money. Money is really essential nowadays since prices of basic goods are going up.

oo3. What's your sexual orientation?
I'm a man who likes the opposite sex, simple as that. Unfortunately, I'm too shy with women to express my feelings.

oo4. What will your dream wedding be like?
Never though about it really. I just don't think that I will find a person that will accept me as myself. If it will come true, I just really want a very simple wedding with my family and her family.

oo5. What's your ideal lover like?
beautiful, kind, thoughtful, understanding, simple, and God-fearing.

oo6. Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone?
Equal. It comes hand in hand.


oo7. How long do you intend to wait for someone you really love?
Till the day I die, I guess. If it doesn't come, I don't mind being single forever at all.

oo8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do?
I would be happy for her. I'll just help her in anyway I can to make her happy as a friend. Hopefully, I would find someone who will love me and I will love back.

oo9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
Unhappy, I don't want to call it that but if I will find the right word for it, it would be family homesickness(if there is such a word). I really, really miss my mom and my younger sisters who are now living in the US. Even if they call one a week on how I am doing here and vice versa. It's still sad not being able to see them and touch them, and interact with them.

o11. Do you want to have kids of your own?
Of course, if God will have his way.

o12. How do you see yourself in ten years time?
I think by that time, I'm already living in the US with my family and hopefully, will have some job there.

o13. Who are currently the most important people to you?
My family, of course.

o14. What kind of person are you?
Introvert but I'm nice, even if some people think I'm too serious-looking and too shy for my own good. I'm a really nice if people will try their best to really know me.

o15. Would you rather be single & rich or married but poor?
Single and rich. XD

o16. What is the first thing you do every morning?
Watch TV.

o17. Would you give all in a relationship?
No. I think I would just give 75%. But there no way you could calculate these things but I really do think you should save some for yourself.

o18. If you fall in love with two people simultaneously, who would you pick?
I will pick the one who loves me the most, of course.

o19. What type of friends do you like?
Same as colleen's answer. Fun to be with, matured, loyal, trustworthy, protective, those who know how to respect and have same interests as mine.

I'm already excited for The Dark Knight movie

Ever since when I was a kid, I was more interested on the Marvel characters than the DC character line-up when it comes to American comics. But ever so, there was DC character that will forever will be my no. 1 DC Character of all time. None other that The Batman. Why? because he's so cool, intelligent, and, of course, overwhelmingly rich. I watched all the Batman movies since the 1st Batman movie directed by Tim Burton and starred Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/Batman and Jack Nicholson as Joker. I loved Batman and Batman returns but was kinda disappointed on Batman Forever and Batman & Robin directed by Joel Schumacher-something because of the nipples on the batsuit that looked gayish. But my interest on the Batman films was revived again because of Batman Begins directed by Christopher Nolan. The movie got it's dark-themed feel back and made Batman cool again. Now that the sequel, The Dark Knight, will premiere here in the Philippines on July 17, 2008. I can't wait for the movie to be released. I also will like to see how the late Heath Ledger portrayed the Joker character which is now being praised by critics.
